Amber Anning, a junior at Arkansas representing Great Britain, placed second in the women's 400-meter final in a lifetime-best 50.68 seconds at the Southeastern Conference Indoor Championships at Lance Harter Track at Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Ark. Anning, who elevated to the No. 3 all-time British indoor competitor, also contributed to the Razorbacks winning the 4x400-meter relay in 3:27.57, running a 50.92 split on the third leg.
