Ayden Owens-Delerme 1st Place Men's Heptathlon - SEC Indoor Championships 2023

Ayden Owens-Delerme, a senior at Arkansas, won the men's heptathlon title with 6,237 points at the Southeastern Conference Indoor Championships at Lance Harter Track at Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Ark. Owens-Delerme, who ranks No. 3 in collegiate indoor history at 6,272 points from last year's NCAA Division 1 Indoor final at the CrossPlex in Birmingham, Ala., produced a personal-best 25-3.25 (7.70m) in the long jump and won four of the events, including the 60-meter hurdles, long jump, high jump and a 2:36.45 performance in the 1,000 meters. Owens-Delerme snapped Georgia's 10-year heptathlon conference championship streak to become the first Arkansas competitor to capture the indoor crown. More videos |
