Alida van Daalen, a freshman at Florida representing The Netherlands, produced a lifetime-best 61-2.75 (18.66m) in the sixth round to capture the Southeastern Conference Indoor women's shot put title at Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Ark. Jalani Davis of Ole Miss, who won the women's weight throw crown, led with a personal-best mark of 60-5.75 (18.43m) in the third round, before van Daalen rallied on her final attempt to become the first Florida female athlete to capture the shot put crown since 2018.
